Friday evening in the Storm Center - An interesting pattern developing over the next few days. A real nice warm-up on Saturday. We may not hit the high for the day until after sunset as warm, humid air continues to stream in from the southwest all day. The price we pay is a chance for spotty rain showers. Most of the rain should be light with less than 1/10 of an inch of accumulation in most areas.
On Sunday ours winds will have shifted from southwest to northwest and colder air will spill in all day long. We should hit the high for the day early in the morning near 42 and then temps tumble into the mid 30s by afternoon.
Monday will be a quiet day but a cold one. By Tuesday a classic snow-maker moves this way from the south. We could see some accumulation from this one. There is also a chance that we could see some bouts with sleet or a rain/snow mix at times. We'll just have to see how the storm and it's track evolves. As of now it's still 4 days out.
I think there may be another chance for snow on Friday next week. In fact I've been looking at a mass of frigid air collecting over Alaska in the medium range models. If that cold breaks loose we may be dealing with it here in the next week or two.
