We really hit a home run on St. Patrick's Day this year. The weather could not have been any better. But this evening in the 4 Warn Storm Center Steve Templeton and I have our eyes on a cool front off to our north. Right now there is not much in the way of precipitation associated with this front and as it moves into our area there isn't much moisture for it to work with.
So what happens when it arrives in St. Louis Midday on Wednesday? Good question. Right now it looks like we'll warm up nicely before the front arrives, probably in the low 70s. There is a slight chance that we could see an isolated shower or thunderstorm out ahead of the front. Rain is more likely after the front passes on Friday afternoon into the evening. This front will cool us down a little on Thursday but we should get back into the 60s over the weekend. There is a chance of a few spotty showers over the weekend but I think most of us will stay dry.
