(KMOV) – Two lanes of eastbound Interstate 64 closed on the Boone Bridge in Chesterfield Tuesday morning for repairs.

The lanes closed beginning at 9 a.m. and are scheduled to be back open by 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The bridge carries traffic between St. Charles County and St. Louis County. Drivers can use alternative routes such as Interstate 70 or Highway 364.

The new $110.9 million I-64 Daniel Boone Bridge is scheduled to open in November.
