(BaseballStL) -- Over the last 3 seasons, the Cardinals’ ace has struggle against the Reds, going just 2-5 in 7 games pitched.

But he has pitched the Redbirds to a 1-0 victory in late March over one of the hottest pitchers in baseball, Johnny Cueto. Wainwright is also coming off of his best game, throwing a complete game against

Wainwright faces off against the Reds’ baby-faced Mike Leake. Against the Rebirds, Leake has gone 1-3 in 6 starts. He won a 4-0 decision earlier in the season at Busch Stadium. He allowed just 4 hits and 1 walk in 8.0 innings of work.

Matt Holliday is hitting .423 off the 26-year-old with 3 doubles, one homer and 6 RBIs.

BFFs: Molina and Great American Ballpark

After the infamous brawl in Cincinnati in 2010, Yadier Molina has enjoyed hitting at Great American Ballpark hitting 6 homers over the past three years. Those 5 homers trail Busch Stadium, at 19, and Wrigley Field, at 6 bombs. He’s also plated 10 RBIs.
