(KMOV.com) – Four people have been arrested in connection to a series of BB gun attacks in the Metro East that police said left at least two injured and several cars badly damaged.
"I was mad because I got to pay for a window when nothing as wrong with it," said Shaneka Price whose car was vandalized. She said the vandals also targeted four other cars in the area.
Police confirmed two other attacks that included one man hit in the hand and another hit in the leg—both with a BB gun.
Police said an off-duty police officer saw three men and a juvenile in a Shop 'n Save parking lot with their rear car window shattered out. Extra patrols were called to investigate, and police said the four were connected to the ongoing attacks in the area.
Alton Police arrested Ken Stewart, 19, Corrionte Cotton, 19, and William Cavins, 25. Charges have been pressed against the three, including aggravated battery. Police said up to 10 misdemeanor charges will be added on.?
