(KMOV) – One person was killed and four others hospitalized after three separate stabbings less than five miles from each other in south St. Louis Monday night.
According to police, the first stabbing happened in the 4400 block of Wallace around 11:35 p.m.
Police say 31-year-old Senadin Fazlic and an acquaintance drove the 4400 block of Wallace to purchase narcotics from the suspect. According to police, Fazlic and the suspect argued over the price of the narcotics and the suspect stabbed Fazlic in the chest.
Fazlic was dropped off at a firehouse in the 5000 block S. Kingshighway. He was then transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police say the suspect is a black male between 23 and 31-years-old.
About 90 minutes later, a fight between two women in the 3900 block of Hereford ended with a 29-year-old being sliced in the face. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police say the suspect is a black female in her 30s, 5 ft. 2 in. tall, who has a small build and was last seen wearing blue jeans.
Police say around 1:20 a.m., three suspects barged into a residence in the 3900 block of Hereford. Police say two of the unknown suspects held three victims at gunpoint while a 22-year-old female suspect began cutting the victims with a knife. A 25-year-old female, 24-year old male and 26-year-old male all suffered slashes to the throat.
According to police, the 26-year-old male victim fled the residence out a window. The 24-year-old male victim attempted to flee out the front door, but the suspects chased and fired gunshots at him, striking him in the stomach.
The suspects fled the scene. All three victims were taken to an area hospital and are listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
