(KMOV.com) – One firefighter was injured while battling a blaze in St. Louis Saturday morning.

According to the St. Louis Fire Department, the firefighter was injured while at the fire in the 5800 block of Saloma around 8:30 a.m.

Officials said the injured firefighters suffered from burns and was transported to local hospital and released.

All occupants of the building were safe and accounted for.  

No other details were immediately available.
