(KMOV) -- Police have identified a man who died after being stabbed outside the downtown St. Louis Public Library on Wednesday.
Authorities say 41-year-old Jeronnia Graves was walking with a female acquaintance near the intersection of 13th and Olive around 10:40 a.m. when they were approached by the woman's ex-boyfriend.
Police say the ex-boyfriend and woman began arguing about their past relationship and Graves intervened.
That's when the suspect stabbed Graves in the neck. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect, who police have identified, fled the scene and remains at large.
