ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) -- Services will be Thursday for a St. Louis-area Marine killed in combat last week in Afghanistan.
Nineteen-year-old Marine Lance Cpl. Phillip Vinnedge of St. Charles was among four Camp Pendleton, Calif.-based Marines who died Oct. 13 in Afghanistan's Helmand Province.
The former Boy Scout and wrestler graduated last year from Francis Howell Central High School and attended Lewis and Clark Technical School.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles.
The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Shepherd in St. Charles, followed by burial with military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
