Police investigating string of shootings in St. Louis

(KMOV)-- The St. Louis Police Department is investigating three separate shootings that happened Tuesday evening.

The first shooting happened around 4:20 p.m. in the 4100 block of North 22nd.

The 29-year-old victim stated he was walking when an unknown black male approached, displayed a gun and demanded money from the victim. The victim told the suspect he did not have any money and the suspect fired shots at the victim, striking him in the leg. No scene could be located.

The next shooting happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Euclid.

The victim told police he and several other people were standing in an alley when two suspects appeared and started shooting at them. The 53-year-old victim was shot in the leg and shoulder. He was taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition. No one else at the scene was injured.

The last incident happened around 9:27 p.m. in the 3900 block of Lexington.

Two males, both 27 years old, stated they were in a car when a suspect in a blue 90s model Buick drove past them and started shooting. One victim was shot in the arm. The second victim had injuries to his arm as a result of the windshield shattering. Both were taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.
