(KMOV)-- St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Tuesday that Blues forward Cam Janssen has been placed on injured reserve due to a concussion.
Janssen suffered the injury in the Blues’ 2-1 win over Philadelphia on Saturday night.
Janssen, 26, played in 43 games last season and led the team with a career-high 190 penalty minutes. The 6 foot, 215-pound forward has played in five NHL seasons, skating in 206 games, registering six points (two goals, four assists) along with 544 penalty minutes.
