(KMOV) -- An injured Red-tailed Hawk rehabilitated by the World Bird Sanctuary was released back into the wild Saturday.
Terry Parker of Shiloh, Illinois set the bird free. His family gave him the experience as a gift through the World Bird Sanctuary's release program. It helps raise money for the organization.
This Red-tailed Hawk was found unresponsive in a parking lot. It's believed he may have been attacked by another bird. His rehab took a few weeks.
