(KMOV) – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who robbed a Walgreens in south St. Louis on October 2.  

This happened at 6411 Gravois.

According to police, the suspect walked into the store, approached the counter and asked for change. When the cashier opened the register, the suspect allegedly displayed a large knife with a thin blade.

The suspect then reportedly took cash from the register.

Two cashiers tried to grab the suspect’s arm, but he was able to escape, police say.

 

The suspect is described as a white male between 40 and 50 years old, standing about 6’0” to 6’2” and weighing about 190-230 pounds.

Authorities say he was wearing a light orange shirt with lettering on the back, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap with white lettering.
