ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A court hearing for a St. Louis Cardinals television broadcaster arrested in August on suspicion of driving under the influence has been pushed back to next month.
Dan McLaughlin was to have made a court appearance Wednesday in St. Louis County on the DUI charge. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that that hearing dealing with his driving privileges now has been rescheduled for Nov. 17.
McLaughlin was arrested Aug. 16 after an officer responding to a report of an erratic driver stopped his vehicle on Interstate 64 in the St. Louis suburb of Chesterfield.
Police say McLaughlin refused a breathalyzer test, and he's challenging the possible revocation of his driver's license.
He has declined comment, citing advice of legal counsel.
McLaughlin is the primary play-by-play announcer for Cardinals games on Fox Sports Midwest.
