Police investigating three south St. Louis shootings

(KMOV)--Police are investigating after three shootings happened in south St. Louis Sunday.
The first shooting occurred on the 4700 block of Rosa around 3:20 a.m.
The victim, an 18-year old man, stated that he and two other people were in a car when he heard a gunshot. The victim was shot in the ear, and authorities say he was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The victim was unable to give any information on a suspect.
The second shooting took place around 11:55 a.m on Sunday.
The 23-year old victim stated he heard a knock at the window and saw the two suspects outside. The victim stated he then opened the door because he recognized one of the suspects, a black male in his teens.
According to authorities, when the victim opened the door, the other suspect allegedly pointed a gun at him. During a struggle, the victim was shot several times. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens.
The suspects fled the scene and the victim was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
A third shooting occurred around noon on the 5400 block of Virginia. The 19-year-old victim stated he was walking towards the corner of Eiler and Virginia when he saw shots fired from a smaller, dark vehicle.
The victim was shot in the hand and was taken to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
There is no information if these shootings are connected. The investigations are ongoing.
