Blues coach Andy Murray discusses playoff chances

The Blues practiced for about a little over an hour today at their St. Louis Mills practice facility. St. Louis native/rookie Ben Bishop teamed up with starter Chris Mason for all the repetitions in goal.

Head coach Andy Murray spent most of practice running his team through live action scenarios, including odd man rushes on Mason and Bishop.

The Los Angeles Kings took the Mills ice after the Blues completed their practice. Typically visiting teams practice at the Scottrade Center. But since the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships were there this past weekend, the ice surface needed extra time to harden.

The Kings will take on the Blues at the Scottrade Center tomorrow at 7:30 pm. The note will have a short skate-around (not open to the public) Tuesday morning at 10:15 at Scottrade.

Murray also said veteran forward Keith Tkachuk is day-to-day after taking a puck to the wrist last Thursday in Vancouver. However, Murray is optimistic Tkachuk could play against L.A tomorrow.
