Blues forward Keith Tkachuk practiced this morning at the Blues morning skate. Head coach Andy Murray still has not decided if he'll play tonight against the Kings at Scottade (7:30 pm start.) Tkachuk has been out since last Thursday, when he was hit in the wrist by a puck against Vancouver.
Tkachuk said after practice he feared the wrist might have been broken. But an x-ray taken the next day in Calgary revealed there was no break. If he sits out tonight, Murray is probably looking to give Tkachuk extra time to rest up the wrist; insuring he's
full-strength for the rest of the Blues' playoff push.
Several players commented that the condition of the Scottrade ice was less than desirable. A new sheet was put down Sunday following the NCAA wrestling championships held there this past weekend. Players noticed the ice was choppy in spots.
