We don't want to scare you, but there are people who have been spending a lot of time thinking about a possible local H1N1 flu pandemic and preparing for the worst case scenario. It's Nick Gragnani's job, to lay awake at night and worry about the bad things that could happen to our community. Mr. Gragnani is the executive director of of the St. Louis Regional Response System and he's confident that our community is prepared for a bad outbreak of the new flu. He says that there's a stockpile of medicine, hospitals are prepared to bring in extra staff if needed and that health departments are closely monitoring the situation. But there is a hole in their planning. You can read about that in my News 4 Investigates blog.
