Both Steven Jackson and Jim Haslett shared the latest after practice today.
Jackson said that he had some swelling and stiffness this morning, which prevented him from practicing. Jackson seemed genuinely frustrated that he was still hurt.
He also acknowledged that it may have been best to just rest it a couple of weeks instead of trying to get back. Jackson made it clear he wasn't being critical of coaches or medical staff, pointing out he was eager to play too, but said maybe they erred by treating him as hurt instead of injured.
Haslett called Jackson questionable for Sunday, leaving room open for a full practice tomorrow. But the plan is for Antonio Pittman to start if Jackson cannot go, with Kenneth Darby and Travis Minor also involved.
-John Greco suffered a sublexed patella tendon and was getting an MRI, but Haslett felt he should be okay.
