After all that happened this week with Richie Incognito you would think that Richie would leave well enough alone after the Rams got their tails whipped by the Bears. Instead of just heading to the locker room after the game, with the fans booing him and the team, he decided with his infinite wisdom to set his helmet down, put his hands to his ears and yell at the fans that he "still can't hear you".
This is coming from a guy who helped get one quarterback killed in the first half. This is coming from a guy who was part of an offensive line that had a running attack that mustered 14 yards. I just don't understand why Richie Incognito would want to get into this attack on the Rams fans.
I understand his frustration with the situation but come on. The Rams right now don't deserve any fans good graces. They have won 6 games out of their past 27. That is horrible. If you are a professional athlete you at least owe your fans some respect. You don't have to make every appearance for everyone but you do owe them a little decorum. What Incognito did today was bush league.
Everyone talks about how competitive he is and how he plays on the edge. Well maybe part of the problem with this team is that we have too many players who play on the edge instead of doing their assignments and doing the right things on and off the field.
There is a saying in football that if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. What would you say Richie Incognito is right now?
