Rams blacked out on local TV

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Rams' game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday will not be televised locally after failing to sell out 72 hours before kickoff. It's the fifth time in the last three seasons the franchise failed to sell out.

The Rams sold out their first 100 games after moving to St. Louis in 1995, a string that was broken on Dec. 24, 2006, against the Washington Redskins. Three games were blacked out last year, although the first six home games this year were sold out.
A team spokesman said Thursday a few thousand tickets remained unsold.
The game matches 2-11 teams. The Rams have lost seven in a row and the Seahawks have dropped six straight.
