Rams wide receiver and kick returner Derek Stanley is done for the season. He has torn ligaments and cartilage in his knee and will be done for the season. Stanley injured his knee on the costly fumble yesterday that resulted in a Seahawks touchdown. Kenneth Darby is expected to take over kickoff duties and Dane Looker is expected to take over on the punt returns.
Stanley becomes the 11th player to go onto injured reserve which is a staggering number. That is one of the many reasons this team is sitting at 2-12 this season.
