Not a whole lot to talk about thus far in the game. The Rams just have gone for it twice on fourth down. One time it worked and the other time it didn't. The first one was 4th and 1 at the 49ers 45. They ran Steven Jackson up the middle and were successful. On attemp number two the Rams were on the 49ers 37 and had a 4th and 3. Marc Bulger threw it deep into the endzone where it was broken up. Not really sure why Bulger decided to go for the home run on 4th and 3 but I will give the Rams credit for going for it instead of punting in both situations. It makes good football sense.
