I've experienced my share of bad customer service, but this situation with my cable company (rhymes with Tartar) takes things to a new extreme. Today is my 11th day without internet service, and finally I was told there is no chance of repair before Friday.
My almost-teenager is in serious withdrawal. My wife, who does a great deal of business from home, is at the end of her rope. I am simply in a state of disbelief that a company which treats customers with such disdain and disregard can even stay in business. On Tuesday (day 9), I actually had a supervisor tell me he didn't understand why I was so upset. It's standard procedure, he says, for repair work to take 7 to 10 business days! I took the guy's name and number, but it's doubtful I'll ever get through to his supervisor, because he says "she doesn't talk to customers." AAAAAARGH. After 15 phone calls, I know how Charlie Brown must have felt every time Lucy offered to hold the football.
By the way, I don't recommend using this company (rhymes with Darter).
Britain has it's own version of "American Idol", which I think ours is modeled after. Anyway, here's a link to a Youtube video with just about the cutest little 6 year old you've ever seen. CHECK IT OUT!
