Which one is it? Is it possible the the media deserves neither of those adjectives? And yes, I'm talking about the media in general, not a particular network. Perception is everything when it comes to the buying public, and according to a new poll from the Pew Research Group, nobody is buying the media's honesty or neutrality:
These are online users, but in general that is really bad news for us. Online and tech-savvy people are the future. I can tell you that 95% of the journalists I know are ethical, and honestly try to fairly cover stories in a fair and balanced manor. It's the other 10% - locally and nationally - who ruin it for the rest of us because they want the attention.
WHO'S YOUR MAN - OR WOMAN?
I had a ball with this today. On this site ontheissues.org you can take a poll called the "2008 Presidential VoteMatch quiz", designed to tell you which candidate most closely matches your views. There's even a second quiz to match you with people who aren't even running yet. Check it out - it's really cool.
Have a good weekend.
