I am here at work. In the news business, there is always someone at the station listening to scanners and monitoring the AP wires, gathering news and writing it for the next show.
I am getting ready for our noon newscast.
Marc is off today. I am meeting him and his family for a Christmas Eve church service tonight. I can't wait to meet little Ginger Grace. It's her first Christmas.
Kristen Cornett and I will be celebrating Christmas Day together. It's funny how Christmas traditions can change when you get older. I think Kristen and I will catch a movie and dinner.
I've learned that it doesn't have to be December 25th to celebrate Christmas.
I had my Christmas on December 16th with my family. Besides, this gives me time to think about what Christmas is really about. Sure, it's a time to spend with friends and family, but it's also about remembering when God sent His Son to bring us each peace and joy. What that exactly means is up for personal interpretation. I find that my definition seems to change from year to year.
