Things could be getting worse, fast for New Orleans.
As if recent hurricanes were not bad enough, there is a new study out that paints a grim picture for one of the nation's most unique cities. Apparently decades of altering the Mississippi River and dams and such have cut off deposits of sediment to the Louisana delta, that combined with rising ocean level could spell disaster for the Crescent City.
