2 Arrested in a string of home burglaries in Rolla

(KMOV) — On Wednesday night, two people were arrested in connection with a string of residential burglaries. 

Clifton William Gann, 25, and Ashley Leigh Freeland, 24, both from Rolla, Missouri were arrested on burglary charges.

The Phelps County Sheriff's office received several reports of home burglaries  in the 12000 block of County Road 5030 in rural Rolla.. Large amounts of electronics were taken from the homes. The items were later found hidden in a motel room. The property was recovered and arrest warrants were issued for the two Gann and Freeland.

Gann already has an outstanding arrest warrant for violating a previously imposed probation and Freeland has outstanding arrest warrants for fraudulent use of a credit device as well as traffic violations.

Both suspects are being held in the Phelps County Jail waiting bond or appearance in court.
