Chambers Park shooter sentenced to prison

(KMOV)—The suspect of the 2008 shooting in Chambers Park was sentenced on June 30th .

Antonio Harris, 25, of St. Louis was sentenced to 120 months in prison after being convicted on February 22nd.  He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Harris shot and injured three adults and one juvenile, who was shot four times. The shooting took place in Chambers Park in St. Louis City on August 29th, 2008.

Several witnesses testified that Harris was seen running onto the playground, wearing a mask and firing at a group of men. He continued chasing them as they ran.

 Harris appeared before United States District Judge Carol E. Jackson.
