President Casino announces permanent closure

(KMOV) -- News 4 has confirmed that the President Casino on the Admiral will not re-open after it was forced to shut down last week because of rising water on the Mississippi River. This was the first ever casino to open in St. Louis.

Permanent closure had been scheduled for 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010.

All President Casino chips and TITOs can be redeemed at Lumière Place at the Laclede mychoiceSM center starting Thursday, June 24 at 8 a.m. and ending at 2 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010.
