(KMOV) -- Three Jefferson County bail bondsmen are out on bond tonight for allegedly torturing a man they were transporting to jail.
The supposed abuse took place on June 5th. Detectives say the men picked the victim up from a house in south St. Louis for a parole violation. Once in the car, court documents state that one of the men hit the victim in the face with a water bottle.
When vehicle finally stopped, the victim told police he was at F and N Bail Bonds in Festus. He then told detectives that the men brought him inside and then began making lewd sexual comments and demanded that he drop his pants.
Next, one of the men reportedly put pepper spray on a cloth and rubbed it on the victim’s face and genitals. Then the victim says that same man gave him a hot cloth to use to clean his body, which the victim says made the pain more intense.
When the men put him back in the car, the victim says the men turned up the heat and cause him even more pain.
As of Tuesday, the victim remains in the Jefferson County Jail for the parole violation.
The bondsmen charged with assault are Sean Baker, Shawn Boyer and Kevin Ritrovato.
