This simple rendition of Veritas’ Tomato Jam can be easily made at home. The finished product can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three weeks

1 - 28 oz. can of high quality tomatoes
½ cup sugar
a pinch of chili flakes
1 tsp salt

1. Puree entire can of tomatoes with juice in a food processor or blender.
2. Add sugar, chili flakes and salt and transfer to a small sauce pan.
3. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
4. Cool and keep refrigerated.
