Turn on the AC

Residents in the Cochran Garden Tower need help. For the past seven days the AC stopped working at the complex. Since then the residents have been battling the heat. The fire department pushed two big generators through the doors last night. They used those generators to pump cold air into the building. However, the cold air only keeps the first floor cool, and there are a total of 12 floors in the apartment complex.

We made phone calls to the St. Louis Housing Authority which owns the property. We also called Eastlake Management and we are told that crews could have the AC fixed by sometime today. Lets pray they are right. Temperatures on Monday will reach 97 degrees, and on Tuesday temps will rise to 99 degrees. The average room temperature in the rooms came in at 95 degrees.
