(KMOV) – Summer just started and the heat is on.
Many St. Louisans are doing their best to avoid going outdoors, but some people have no choice but to be in the hot weather.
On busy street corners in the Central West End, there’s plenty of outdoor seating but no one wants to eat out there. Phil Le, the manager at The Drunken Fish says it’s much cooler in the kitchen than it is outdoors.
Just down the street from the restaurant, movers were seen unloading a truck full of furniture going 21 floors up at the Chase Park Plaza.
Even worse, the movers say that there’s no air flow inside the truck.
Summer just started and plenty of people in the Central West End are already thinking about fall, looking for anything to beat the heat.
