St. Louis police: 2 people shot, injured while riding bicycles

(KMOV) -- Two men were shot while riding their bicycles in St. Louis late Wednesday night.
 
It happened around 10:50 p.m. in the 2000 block of Miami.
 
St. Louis police say that the two victims, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, were riding their bicycles with two other friends.
 
They were riding west on Miami heading toward Illinois when they were confronted by two suspects who were also on bicycles.
 
Police say the suspects started asking the victims question. That’s when one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a gun and started shooting at the victims.
 
The 20-year-old victim was shot in the back. He was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
 
The 19-year-old victim was shot in the leg. He is in stable condition.
 
Police are looking for the two suspects in this case. They are described as black men in their late teens or early 20s. One suspect had medium length dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and khaki shorts. The other suspect had a short afro and was wearing a white T-shirt and denim shorts.
