Local liquor commissioner pleads guilty to extortion

(KMOV) – A former liquor commissioner admitted he tried to extort money, liquor and sex from the business owners he was regulating.

Walter Hill, 32, pleaded guilty to asking for bribes while he worked for East St. Louis.
Hill faces up to 20 years in prison.
