(KMOV)— The ABB Foundation is asking for more donations to the fund that was set up for the victims of the tragic shooing at the ABB transformer factory.
The ABB St. Louis Fund has collected nearly $68,000 in donations and matched by ABB Inc. The funds will be distributed equally among the families of the four deceased employees by the end of June.
Along with the families, a portion of the money has been set aside for a memorial, plans for that are still pending.
"We want everyone in St. Louis to know that there is still time to help these families," said ABB Foundation spokesman Barry Dillon. "And we want to pass along our thanks to the employees and residents who gave money to help the ABB families through this tragic time."
The ABB Foundation is asking for more donations through Sept. 30th, 2010.
Those Donations should be sent to Merrill Zaft, ABB Foundation, 501 Merritt 7, 6th Floor, Norwalk, CT, 06851
