The 108 rescued dogs now being cared for at the Humane Society may soon be available for adoption. It is not definite, yet. The dogs taken from a licensed breeder in Miller County do have a variety of problems, mostly due to neglect.
The Humane Society will keep custody of the dogs until a court hearing June 28 in Tuscumbia, Missouri. If custody is awarded to the Humane Society the organization says as many as possible will be put up for adoption.
