(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis County police detectives are asking for the public's help to catch a suspected identity thief who, they say, used a victim's credit card to buy a large 3-D television.

Police officials have released pictures in hopes that someone will recognize the suspect or the suspect's vehicle.  The female suspect is wanted in an identity theft investigation after police said she obtained a GE Money Bank credit card at an O'Fallon, Illinois Sam's Club store and used the card at a Ferguson, Missouri Sam's Club.

According to police, the suspect purchased a 65" Vizio 3-D television from the Ferguson Sam's Club location on June 6th.  Authorities describe the suspect's vehicle as a late model, white Ford Expedition.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Detective Shanika with the St. Louis County Police Department at 314.615.0716.  If you would like to remain anonymous, you can call Crimestoppers at 866.371.TIPS.
