ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a bank Monday afternoon in south St. Louis.
According to police, the robber entered the Southern Commercial Bank in the 7200 block of South Broadway, approached the teller and gave a demand note. Officials say he did not show or imply that he had a weapon.
He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 foot 2 inches with a thin buid, dark skin and short dark hair. He was wearing prescription glasses, a gray shirt underneath a black leather jacket, khaki cargo pants with a brown belt and brown “Polo” style boots.
