Heroin dealer sentenced after two customers die

St. Louis (KMOV) -- 35-year-old Dean Jordan, formerly of the 3800 block of Greer, was sentenced to 15 years in prison by United States District Judge Catherine D. Perry.
Jordan pled guilty in February to one felony count of distribution of heroin. Jordan distributed heroin in St. Louis to Derek Allen who in turn distributed it to others, including Robert Bowden in Illinois. 
Both Allen and Bowden died in Staunton, Illinois as a result of the heroin distribution.
Jordan was ordered to pay restitution to the families of Allen and Bowden in the amount of $17,473. 
 
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration Diversion Division, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the South Central Drug Task Force, and the Staunton, IL Police Department.  Assistant United States Attorney Noelle Collins handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
