Police searching for man who robbed, shot Walgreens customer

St. Louis (KMOV) – Police are searching for a suspect involved in a robbery and shooting that occurred at a Walgreens during the afternoon of Thursday, June 9.

The victim told police that after leaving the store, located at the 1200 block of Union, he got in his car and was approached by the suspect. The suspect asked him if he had any marijuana to sell.
After the victim said no and argument ensued between the two and the suspect took the victim’s cell phone, wallet, and jewelry. The suspect then shot the victim in the leg.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 30 years and weighing between 175 and 205 pounds. He is said to have a medium complexion, shoulder length dreadlocks, and was wearing a red t-shirt, blue shorts, and black tennis shoes.
The investigation is ongoing.
