(KMOV) -- An early morning earthquake rattled central, eastern and southern parts of Missouri and Illinois on Tuesday.
According to a report by the United States Geological Survey, the 3.9 magnitude quake happened around 3:10 a.m. near Sullivan, Missouri.
Residents stretching from St. Louis, to Columbia, Missouri and Carbondale, Illinois felt the tremor, and say it lasted between five and 30 seconds.
No damage or injuries have been reported.
