Agave nectar is a super-sweet syrup ideal for drinks, salad dressings, cereal or anywhere you want a touch of sweetness. Darker varieties have an almost maple-like flavor. Because it tastes sweeter than sugar, start with a small amount and adjust the recipe to suit your taste. Agave nectar is available in Dierbergs Whole Life or baking aisle.
