UNION, Mo. (KMOV) -- Two Union R-XI School District teachers were charged Thursday after a 37-year-old woman alleged that she was drugged and sexually assaulted.
According to the Union Police Department, a woman claimed she had been drinking alcohol and may have been unknowingly drugged, to the point that she lost control of her body.
At that point, two male acquaintances reportedly had sexual intercourse with her, without her consent. However, the woman did not report the accusations to police until 10 days after the alleged incident happened.
Brad Julius, 30, of Union, Mo. was charged with sexual assault. Matthew Rogers, 29, of Union, Mo. was also charged with sexual assault.
Julius has already turned himself in and bonded out of the Franklin County Jail. Rogers turned himself in Friday morning and bonded out shortly.
Julius is a physical education teacher at Union High School, and Rogers is a 6th grade teacher at Clark-Vitt Elementary School.
The School District has been advised that the alleged off-campus incident did not involve any students, children or other school personnel.
If convicted, Julius and Rogers would have to register as sex offenders and would never be allowed inside of a classroom again.
