(KMOV.com) -- The perpetrator of a brutal beating inside a school has been given probation for the crime.
Jordin Carter, 17, pleaded guilty to stalking a fellow classmate at Francis Howell High School. Police said she beat the same girl bloody in the middle of the school lunchroom.
According to police, Carter also refused to apologize in court Friday.
The prosecutor told News 4, given her young age; he agreed to give her a second chance.
“She’s 17,” said prosecutor Tim Lohmar, “She made a horrible mistake, so she’s been given a chance to make that right.”
If she gets in trouble again, Carter could get up to eight years in prison.
