(KMOV) – A fraternity on the Arizona State University campus is having a party called into question after the theme centered around Dr. Martin Luther King Day.

The Theta Kappa Epsilon Chapter at Arizona State was suspended after they threw a party themed “MLK Black Party.” Pictures of the party circulated as guests were dressed in basketball jerseys, flashing gang signs and drinking from watermelon cups.

“I find it offensive. I think this represents the ignorance that still exists today. They obviously need to be checked on what they’re doing, how they’re acting and how they’re presenting themselves. Not only as a fraternity of brothers, but as people,”

This is not the first time this chapter of TKE has been suspended. Last month they were reinstated following inappropriate conduct that ended in a big fight with injuries.
