Armed robbery suspects apprehended in Fairview Heights

(KMOV) -- Three people were charged for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery which occurred in Belleville on Tuesday at 1:10 p.m.

According to police, the victim of the robbery reported being held at gunpoint by 19-year-old Lemar D. Gully, 20-year-old Dwayne Morgan, and 20-year-old Zoey Fender.

It was reported one of the suspects pointed a gun, demanding money and marijuana. After the suspects had driven away, the victim and a friend immediately called authorities to report the incident and followed the suspects to a stoplight in Fairview Heights, Il.

Fairview Heights Police officers located the vehicle and took the suspects into custody.

Gully was charged with armed robbery, aggravated unlawful use of weapon, and aggravated unlawful use of weapon. Morgan and Fender were both charged with robbery and theft from a person.

Gully, Morgan and Fender are currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail.
