(KMOV.com) -- A man was rushed to the hospital Friday evening after police said he was shot by his father in Franklin County, Missouri.
Charles Crowe, 67, was charged with assault and armed criminal action for allegedly shooting his son, Nathaniel Crowe, 39.
Witnesses told police that Nathaniel had gone to a home in the 1200 block of Reiker’s Ford Road to retrieve a vehicle that Charles had in his possession. Witnesses then told police and argument ensued.
Authorities allege the argument led Charles to shoot his son Nathaniel in the chest.
Nathaniel was flown to a hospital in the St. Louis area where his condition is unknown.
Charles is being held on a $100,000 cash only bond.
