ST. LOUIS -- A St. Louis man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for shooting his cousin in the head following a family reunion.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 40-year-old Tyrone Little pleaded guilty to first-degree assault, armed criminal action and a weapons charge on Monday. The cousin survived but a bullet fragment remains in his head.
The shooting happened on June 22, 2012. Prosecutors say Little was being dropped off at a home after a family reunion when an argument began. One of the bullets struck the cousin in the head.
